Welcome to Nambiti Plains Private Game Lodge
Nambiti Plains Game Lodge lies nestled in the scenic landscape of Nambiti Game Reserve. Offering a private and exclusive Big Five bush retreat in a game conservancy set on 22,000 acres of malaria-free bushveld in KwaZulu Natal. The abundance of natural water and beautiful waterfalls on the Sundays River make Nambiti a unique sanctuary. Game viewing include amoungst others the Big 5, Cheetah, Hyena, Eland, Oryx and Nyala as well as several rare bird species.
The Lodge is imaginatively weaved and constructed, perched on the waterhole edge overlooking the natural plains. The Lodge’s emphasis is on a modern yet eco-friendly minimalist approach, located right in the bush with no manicured gardens, thereby reducing the impact on the surrounding environment. A fine line between luxury and the reality of the African wild. Guests can relax with a cocktail on the deck, take a dip in the swimming pool and watch as the animals drink at the waterhole.
Each of the 7 spacious suites are designed with the utmost care and detail. Boasting 180 degree panoramic views through floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. Guests can view the animals from the luxury of free standing stone baths, outdoor showers, and private wrap around decks. Suites offer ceiling fans or air conditioning, coffee and tea stations and mini bars to ensure guests can immerse themselves in the pure luxury that is Nambiti Plains.
